Last August, iDatix (news site) made it onto the KMWorld's list of 100 trend-setting products for 2008. At the time there was speculation that it might have made the list because of iLink, its application integration solution.

Allowing for tighter integration with third party applications, iLink provides the ability for a user to create buttons and keyboard shortcuts that link to a particular function within iDatix iSynergy ECM.

This week saw another third party application -- eCopy’s (news site) ShareScan -- getting the full integration treatment.

There seems to be a much greater focus these days on the capture and management of paper documents. But it doesn’t end there. Organizations also need to be able to collaborate on these types of stored documents. DocuLex’s Archive Studio content management software is one option to help organizations do this efficiently.

Daybreak ICS, Inc., a provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software and services, recently announced the release of eCapture Express, a new addition to its eCapture Suite of distributed document capture and delivery solutions.

eCapture Express is designed for workgroup or departmental deployments and establishes “a new level of simplicity” with its client-only architecture and subscription pricing model.

Daybreak ICS has released a new version of eCapture Suite. eCapture 2.0 combines document capture with the ability to deliver content to multiple Enterprise CMS repositories from a single interface. Currently supported repositories include Documentum and eRoom, with more on the way.
