New Hampshire-based Web Content Management player Ektron has presented Microsoft with a direct challenge. By adding a native .NET Web CMS to their product lineup, Ektron has provided the answer for those who've been waiting for an MCMS 2004 or an MCMS 2003.

This week at Fawcette TechnicalPublications' VSLive! San Francisco, Ektron Inc., will unveil a content management solution developed in a "native" .NET Framework-based environment. Again this week Ektron is in the news. They have garnered the "Best in Show" award from AIIM's E-DOC magazine. The Ektron CMS300 was selected by a panel of 19 industry experts for "Excellence in Web Content Management". The panel evaluated 225 products.
