Looking to add mobility to your sleepy content site? Have a little Flux, peppered with some Social Project magic.

Flux is a social media distribution platform that enables media companies and bloggers to "virally" distribute content without losing the reins on their brands.

To precipitate the dissemination of the Flux social media platform across publishers, Social Project has built some handy little tools, alongside brands like Capital Records, TheDailyShow.com, and indy firms like The Plugg, 3hive and X17online.

For "legit" print journalists, the day of reckoning may be approaching more quickly than any of us would like. A survey by web CMS vendor Polopoly reports that, according to European newspaper execs, 40 percent of published content will be user generated.

In the next three years.

Because of this, blogs and other "new media" commodities will become increasingly critical to the news-making populace. And with this trend, personalized online advertising opportunities are also expected to improve.

How do you know when a trend has ceased to be a trend? When the "legitimate" players need to leap in to survive, and the trend-setters end up paying taxes just like everyone else.

Polopoly Community Module, a collaboration solution from Polopoly, Scandinavia’s largest Content Management vendor, recently helped a major global newspaper get blog-savvy with a pay-per-view blogging system that also rewards bloggers.

Movable Type EnterpriseAnnounced without a lot of fanfare yesterday was Six Apart's latest version of their enterprise blogging platform.

Movable Type Enterprise (MTE), a souped-up version of 6A's commercial blogging platform, has just turned one-point-five. Still, some say MTE is just glossy packaging, the "E" word, and an inflated price tag. Perhaps, perhaps not. By and by the "E" (for Enterprise) is being earned and despite the nay sayers, there is a place for Enterprise Blogging software.
