The Asia Pacific region is a big market for enterprise mobility, currently a leader in terms of mobile broadband subscriber base and having a growing industry for mobile data services. Given these trends, HCL Technologies has invested in an enterprise mobility lab in Singapore.

A new partnership between global IT giant HCL Technologies and Talisma has resulted in the launch of a new hosted customer relationship management (CRM) service that can be used on a case-by-case basis, or based on specific business process management needs.

Global enterprise business solutions provider NEC is to enter into an alliance with one of India’s original IT garage start-ups, HCL, to extend the reach of EMC Documentum to Japan.

The recently announced partnership will result in the development a specific Japanese Document Management System, with NEC setting revenue targets of US$ 750 million (75 billion Yen) for the 2011 fiscal year with the new product.
