Stratify Achieves Desirable Audit Certification

logo-ironmountain-2009.pngStratify, Inc. a subsidiary of Iron Mountain Incorporated, provider of information protection and storage services, recently announced receiving Statement on Auditing Standard (SAS-70) certification. The receipt of SAS-70 recognizes the health of Stratify’s electronic discovery facilities and internal processes.

SAS-70 was developed and continues to be maintained by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Organizations awarded are among those that have successfully implemented rigorous internal controls. In addition to increased prestige, the audit allows clients to analyze critical elements of the technology infrastructure. In Stratify’s case, processes that are vital in delivering high quality eDiscovery services are now getting some extra and well deserved attention.

"SAS-70 certification provides transparency into how Stratify manages and maintains security processes and protocols," stated Amar Singh, director of IT and Operations for Stratify. "In today's legal and regulatory environment, attorneys increasingly confront complicated electronic discovery scenarios involving multiple matters and numerous parties that can extend over many years. Supported by the SAS-70 audit and certification, Stratify's clients can be confident that we have implemented state-of-the-art security measures to protect their data."
