Remember Kevin Cochrane — the former CMO of Mindjet, the former CMO of Open Text and former vice president of digital marketing at Adobe? Guess where he’s just popped up — apparently just a day after leaving Mindjet? At open source Web Content Management (WCM) vendor Jahia.
As of today, Cochrane will sit on the board of Jahia. He will initially serve in an advisory capacity, although Jahia CEO Elie Auvray says that the role of advisor could grow as the company grows.

There are few surprises in today’s official release of Jahia 7 — but only because Jahia disclosed most of its features and functionality during JahiaOne, its international user conference in Paris this past February.
While the general release of Jahia 7 is interesting, what is just as interesting for future developments of this open source content management system (CMS) vendor is the development of its vision and strategy around what it calls Digital Industrialization.

Earlier in the month we took a look at Jahia Wise, the social and collaboration application due to be released at the end of this month. We said that one of the contributing elements in Wise would be an upgrade to Jahia xCM 6.6.1, which has just been released. Let's have a look at it.

At the end of this month Jahia will introduce a new open source solution called Jahia Wise that combines document management and social collaboration. Easy to use, it has all the functionality required to enable workers to integrate all their information sources and populate their websites or intranets with enterprise content.
