Mobifusion, a mobile apps developer in the mood to promise the entertainment world to its users, has just released the latest version of its multimedia platform.
Mobiviewer 2.5 reportedly improves both the viewing and reading experiences on mobile phones and includes a slew of additional nifty and bite-sized “snacks” like an icon-based UI, audio plug-ins, and instant photos and graphics. Sounds pretty tasty to us.

Web sites and web applications have come a long way in the last 10-15 years. With technologies such as dynamic HTML, JavaScript and broadband connections, we have seen amazing web applications in recent years.
However, on the mobile platform, browsing the web leaves a lot to be desired. Today's websites, even those that have launched 'mobile' versions, have a long way to go if they desire to be more usable by mobile users. This is the conclusion of a deep analysis by usability expert Jakob Nielsen. He described his experience conducting his research as "cringeworthy" for users and researchers.

In a world where mobile phones are finding inroads into many different facets of our lives, a new study suggests a new usage pattern is about to emerge. According to Ovum, a telecom analyst firm, mobile video usage will soon gain traction.
Two main factors for this include: advancing the prospect of widely-used video usage including rollout of next generation wireless networks and a new carrier attitude of openness with regards to which applications can appear on mobile handsets.
