Earlier this year in an interview, George Grippo, VP Media Asset Management at North Plains, indicated that many Digital Asset Management (DAM) vendors are struggling to cope with the special requirements of video asset management.

Digital asset management is coming to Europe. North Plains Systems, provider of digital asset management (DAM) and video asset management (VAM) software solutions, plans to expand its global channel of strategic partners over the coming months, including a European base of technology partners.
The expansion comes as a result of the increased demand of its TeleScope digital asset management platform, known for enabling securing access, management and distribution of all digital and rich media across an entire organization.
