Softlayer CDN enters the market

We recently covered the announcement of Velocix Accelerator, the world's first free content delivery network aimed towards new digital media businesses. Just a few weeks later, another low-cost CDN aimed at the start up market has surfaced. This time, the company entering the CDN ring is Softlayer, a datacenter out of Dallas, Texas.


Clickability SaaS Web CMS offers online video

They just finished up their 2008 User Conference in San Francisco and it looks like they were sitting on a new partnership deal the whole time. SaaS Web Content Management provider, Clickability has announced that they will partner with Twistage, a white label video solution provider, to provide online video capabilities to the Clickability Publishing Platform.

Clickability executives Join SIIA

It's shaping up to be a really great year for Clickability. They had record numbers attending their User Conference in San Francisco last month and they have record numbers for usage of the SaaS web content management platform. Things are going so well, that several of their executives are joining Executive Council Boards of the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA).

Move over, Youtube; there’s a new online video sharing site in town.

Viddler, set to officially launch in September, is a video sharing service that goes deeper than other mainstream video sites like Google Video and its sister Youtube by offering users the ability to add tags and comments to particular points in a video.
