Open Source Nuxeo DM 5.3 Supports OpenSocialNuxeo (news, site) included several new features in the latest release of Nuxeo Document Management. Nuxeo DM 5.3 highlights include support for the OpenSocial API, a new tagging service, SharePoint integration support and interoperability with CMIS as an add-on component.

On top of that, Nuxeo EP 5.3, the vendor's enterprise content management system core, reached the RC stage.

His latest exposition is a timely call to arms regarding the Social Web, and is worth five minutes of any Webmaster’s time. In essence, Bob’s argument is that some version of open social (all rights reserved, Google Corp.) is happening, and that all you Webmasters are going to be dancing in the streets when you see what this thing will do. If, that is, you wake up in time and get to grips with what it means. And part of that, according to Bob, will mean that you’re going to have to get savvy with Social Application Servers like Ringside’s.

CrownPeak has announced integrated support for Google’s Open Social, Google Gadgets and a number of other social networking standards.

CrownPeak customers will henceforth be able to build rich Web applications from within the CrownPeak CMS and share them on other sites including social networking sites like Facebook, Orkut and Salesforce.com.
