Systems Alliance (news, site), maker of SiteExecutive (news, site), has recently announced the release of Enhancement Pack 1 (EP1), which adds a social dimension to SiteExecutive 2011. The update should provide integration with Twitter and Facebook, and provides enhancements in the Blog, Calendar, Profile Directory and other core CMS applications.

With video now one of the real “must haves” for any enterprise website most vendors are either integrating with outside video management systems or building their own. Such is the case with Systems Alliance (news, site), which has just released its video management system called MediaExecutive that is fully integrated with its Web content management system SiteExecutive.

Last April, Systems Alliance released an enhancement pack for SiteExecutive, a mere four months after the content management application had been made available. Attempting to comply with current Web trends, the enhancement added social capabilities. Sort of.

This week, Systems Alliance has released yet another set of upgrades geared toward popular Web practices. Enhancement Pack 4 includes Framework for developing dynamic content, a blog application, automatic spam reduction and a ton of other improvements requested by the SiteExecutive community.

It was late January when Systems Alliance released version 4 of their web content management suite SiteExecutive. At the time, we noted the lack of the social networking capabilities.

Well, they were either listening very closely to us or to their own customers because only three months later they have announced their Enhancement Pack 1 for SiteExecutive 4.1 - and it looks packed with “facebook for the enterprise” like features — well sort of.
