We’ve been exploring Web Engagement Management (WEM) perspectives lately. This time we look at the role that Digital Asset Management (DAM) plays in engagement. And based on my experiences, I'll put a stake in the ground and say that most organizations and DAM vendors are missing out on the potential DAM+WEM love.

Marketing Resource Management (MRM) is one of the areas -- in addition to WCM and ECM -- where Gartner (news, site) exercises its magic by the quadrant. In one of its recent 2010 reports, the analyst firm highlighted several Web CMS vendors as players in the niche quadrant for MRM.

London-based Content management platform vendor, VYRE (news, site), has continued its run, producing record figures in 2009. The company offers a solution which blends  content management, digital asset management and marketing operations. Here are the crisis defying details.

What recession? That must be the question asked at Vyre (news, site) who has recorded a revenue rise of 81% compared to the first half of 2008 thanks to sales of its Unify CMS.

Earlier this month UK based company VYRE announced a new release of their content management solution, VYRE Unify. VYRE Unify 4.4 is an upgraded version of the Web platform and includes features such as bulk editing, an import module, and AJAX functionality, among many, many others.

Though home to many vendors, the European CMS marketplace is in many ways still up for grabs.
