It looks like the Flash content management games are still alive and well. We've talked a lot about collaborative and very hands-on solutions in the past (Yooba, Flypaper), but today's new contestant has a bit of a different flavor. Royale/CMS touts themselves as "the ultimate answer to the needs of every Flash professional" and acts as a rebrandable platform specifically for agencies and freelancers.

Remember when Flypaper (news, site) was pretty much the only Flash-based CMS we covered? Totally not the case anymore. And perhaps it's in response to increasing interest around this particular niche within a niche that Flypaper has recently gotten a little flashier.
Though not immediately available, the company announced that it will soon bi-directionally support Adobe’s XFL file format. For Flash developers, this means seamless creation and sharing of content between between Flypaper and Flash.

In June we told you Yooba Studio (news, site) would be worth a first and second look for those interested in Flash-based websites but not the cost of a creative agency.
Today it seems the platform has gotten more than a look or two, as they recently landed a spot on the list of semi-finalists for Best of InsideRIA 2009, sponsored by O’Reilly Media and Adobe.

You see a lot of Flash content on websites today. Sometimes the entire website is done in Flash, sometimes it's just a portion of it, or maybe just a microsite. Most people in the Flash game have either an experienced Flash developer or a design agency developing that content for you.
But if Yooba's claims are true, one can now do much of this Flash content development oneself -- without knowing the ins and outs of Flash development. You just need Yooba, a SaaS-based Flash Web Content Management System.
Intrigued but skeptical, we spoke with Sven Miller, Sales Manager for Yooba, to get the scoop on this new solution.
