DIG SOUTH is the Southeast’s first and only interactive festival exploring the digital economy. Held April 12-14, 2013, at the College of Charleston TD Arena and other downtown venues, the Festival includes a CONFERENCE with high-level presenters, a technology and creative industry EXPO, and a SIDESHOW featuring live music, comedy and after-parties. The theme for 2013 is the intersection of technology, social media, marketing and the arts.
Startups, entrepreneurs, and leading brand executives will join us for a discussion on digital innovation, platforms and channels, marketing, e-commerce, software development, mobile technology, video, big data, cloud computing, social media, self-publishing, entertainment industry trends, non-profits, gamification and much more.
The DIG SOUTH Interactive Festival is a natural outgrowth of regional initiatives led by Charleston Digital Corridor, Charleston Regional Development Alliance, Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, Pecha Kucha, College of Charleston Department of Computer Science and others. Modeled on the SXSW Interactive Conference, DIG SOUTH will be held annually each April in Charleston, S.C.It’s the perfect place to take advantage of interactive forums, activations, networking events and parties, product demos, expert advice and more.
Conference sessions and keynotes selected by attendees are enhanced with “Interactive” break out forums including “Speed Dating for Startups,” “Straight to Video” and “Dig Time.” The Technology and Creative Industry Expo is open to the general public and will feature presentations, prizes, product demonstrations and more.
