Enterprise CMS purveyor SpringCM has announced the unveiling of corporate headquarters in the middle of San Mateo, CA.

There isn't much happening in San Mateo. Thankfully, it sits at the heart of places where things are happening. The location enables SpringCM to beef up its employee base with the minds -- and investment coffers -- of San Francisco, San Jose and the greater Silicon Valley.

It's that time of year again. No, not the holidays; end-of-the-year salary surveys, of course. Like clock work, the Information Architecture Institute released their 2007 IAI Salary Survey and it looks like the gender pay gap is narrowing, if ever so slightly.

This is the first year the IAI chose to include a question on gender, which they say "provided the most interesting result coming out of our salary survey to date."

Having just launched our Job Board for the Content Management market, we're paying a bit more attention to employment trends lately. Tying right in with this is the announcement of A List Apart's very interesting Web industry survey results -- covering demographics, job titles and yes, salaries for more than 30,000 Web professionals.
