Deirdre Walsh, Senior Social Media Marketing Manager of Jive Software, talked to John Summers, Social Media Architect at NetApp, about his Social Business experience. NetApp is a leading provider of enterprise storage and data management solutions. Summers will be a featured speaker at the JiveWorld11 conference in Las Vegas, Oct 4-6.

This week in the SMB space there have been a number of releases for mobile workers that will give them access to files and databases through iPad, while Pravega offers free email marketing and CRM setup to small business users.

Earlier this month, the team behind StoredIQ (news, site) took its Intelligent Information Management Platform and joined NetApp’s Alliance Partner Program. The partnership allows StoredIQ to integrate NetApp storage into their platform, providing better performance and scalability to the corporate infrastructures that utilize it.
