The Zoho Office team has been consistently adding integrated products to its stellar AJAX Web Office Suite, and picking up some much deserved respect along the way. The latest this week is the Zoho Wiki.

More news from Le Web 3 today in Paris. This time is was Gil Penchina, CEO of Wikia, announcing that they’d (1) purchased super active social media site ArmChairGM.com, and (2) have released the foundational software that ArmChairGM runs on as a free Wiki and Social Media platform. The free service is being offered through a dedicated Wikia site called www.openserving.com. In his talk today Gil didn’t claim to have a business plan, but rather to be operating under the assumption that if they (the jabbering and photo snapping masses) share, one will come.

Today at the Le Web 3 conference here in Paris, SocialText CEO, Ross Mayfield unveiled their latest big thing, SocialText Unplugged. The new feature allows users to click an icon to take portions of their wiki content offline, then re-sync once they are connected again.

Following close on the heels of recent Google applications developments. The company has acquired JotSpot, a “pioneering” publishing and collaboration company started in 2004 by Excite.com co-founders Joe Kraus and Graham Spencer.

The JotSpot apps includes a group directory, file cabinet, blog, forum, group calendar, photo gallery, poll and to-do list.

According to a statement released by JotSpot, JotSpot’s team and technology are a strong fit with existing Google products like Google Docs & Spreadsheets, Google Apps for Your Domain and Google Groups.

New registrations are temporarily disabled and the service will soon be free for existing users. There will of course be a migration period while the applications are integrated into Google’s infrastructure, but stay tuned as new versions of Google online apps suite takes shape, blending the JotSpot capabilities with GOOG’s latest releases.
