Look But Don’t Touch
The new Android app for LibreOffice teases a bit. You can look and even make very basic changes in ODF (open document format) documents – word and font-style modification — but not much more.
According to officials at the Document Foundation, headquartered in Berlin, editing is in the experimental stages and “not stable enough for mission critical tasks.” But their developer community is working on getting the bugs out. In fact, they even have a bug tracker for users to report issues.
LibreOffice Viewer’s Android application package is available for download via the Document Foundation’s site.
JetBlue Exec Joins MaritzCX
Salt Lake City, Utah based MaritzCX this week announced appointment of Justin Thompson as vice president of product strategy.
The former director of customer insights at JetBlue Airways, he will be charged with “defining and building innovative, next-generation products that achieve tangible business outcomes for customer experience and business professionals.”
He will guide the creation of CX products that "directly impact the most relevant boardroom measurements: customer retention, revenue growth, profitability and employee loyalty,” Adam Edmunds, founder and chief strategy officer at MaritzCX said.
