Brian Krupp is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Baldwin Wallace University. His research interests are primarily in mobile security and privacy where he currently leads the Mobile Privacy and Security (MOPS) research group. His research has been presented at international conferences and highlighted in media outlets across the country. Brian also has over thirteen years of industry experience as a software developer, distributed systems engineer, software architect, and information security consultant. He has his Doctorate in Engineering from Cleveland State University and holds a Masters degree in Computer and Information Science.
Brian is also passionate about computer science education. He works with a community outreach group called CS+ that provides various tech camps where young minds can learn how to program robots, create mobile apps, and build web sites. He also visits schools to help promote computing and also hosts a tech club in partnership with local community organizations.
