Daryll Swager

Daryll Swager has spent his entire professional career in the high tech field, with an emphasis on customer support, customer advocacy, and online community building/management. He is currently the Manager of the Social Media and Community team at Quest Software.

Daryll started his career as a technical support representative at Logitech Inc., in 1994. He discovered his career passion of social business and community management in 2003, when he became the founder and community manager of the VMware user community. He grew the VMware user community from a small watering hole on Usenet to 300,000 registered users in less than 2 years.

Most recently, Daryll has founded successful user communities for Terremark’s vCloud Expess service, as well as the Vizioncore vCommunity. He also founded a small user community for Zazengo Inc., a non-profit agency dedicated to social action via online campaigns.

In his spare time, Daryll enjoys fly fishing, all things sports, online computer gaming, and hanging out with his wife and teenage daughter.
