Derek holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan, Ross and a BS from Skidmore College. He is an avid agile practitioner and SAFe certified Scrum Master and Business Owner. A Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served in Senegal, he continues to mentor and advise young professionals and community-based organizations like ScareYourSoul.com and WholePhonics.com. He has also served on boards with the Rutgers Center for Innovation Education and Professional Association for Customer Engagement (PACE).
