Hunter Montgomery

Hunter Montgomery is Chief Marketing Officer at Higher Logic, a provider of cloud-based community platforms.An accomplished global marketing executive with more than 20 years of experience in the management and leadership of marketing and business operations, he is responsible for overall marketing strategy at Higher Logic. Before Higher Logic Hunter was Vice President of Marketing at Vocus, where he was responsible for planning and budgeting, sales and marketing alignment, analytics and reporting, data governance and strategy, marketing systems, and campaign marketing.  Before that, Hunter was responsible for all demand generation and ecommerce programs at Vocus.Hunter has spent a majority of his career in the high-tech industry where he has lead marketing efforts through start-up, survival, turnaround and growth modes. He graduated from Colgate University where he earned a BA in History and earned a MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
