John is Chief Commercial Officer responsible for overseeing the global growth of CyrusOne and its world-class sales and marketing teams. John joined CyrusOne in 2016 as EVP of Global Sales and successfully scaled the operation, helping CyrusOne achieve industry-leading year over year growth. With 25 years of experience, he brings strong global sales and sales operations acumen, deep understanding of Cloud transformation, and best practice marketing and go-to-market strategy.
Prior to joining CyrusOne, John served as President of North America for Stratasys, the global leader in 3-D Printing. Previously, he served as SVP, Chief Revenue Officer for ReachLocal, Inc. and held senior executive leadership positions for more than 14 years at Dell. In his last 5 years with Dell, John led Dell’s IT Consulting Division in the Americas and EMEA focusing on large-scale data center consolidation, virtualization, & Cloud enablement / transformations. He received his MBA from Vanderbilt University and his BA in Economics from Connecticut College.
John is an avid sailor, having done a Trans-Atlantic crossing at the age of 10. He is married with two teenage children and loves sharing his sailing passion with friends and family.
