John Murphy is VP of marketplace quality at OpenX, a programmatic advertising technology company. John is responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketplace quality, including traffic quality operations, creative review, and advertiser and publisher policy. Before OpenX, John was director of search marketplaces at Yahoo, where he drove traffic quality strategy and operations. During 10 years at Yahoo/Overture, John held a variety of management roles in editorial operations, marketplace quality and policy. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of California San Diego and an MBA from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine.
