Mary Blabaum

Mary has been an inclusive design advocate specializing in the Digital Asset Management software for the last 8 years. She has a background in graphic and web design with an emphasis in development. She is currently the Senior Manager of Product Design at Acquia, leading the Product design efforts across the R&D organization. Prior to joining Acquia Mary was the Lead UX Designer at Widen and lead the charge in the adoption of a universal design system and promotion of users accessibility needs and standards. She is NN/G Certified, an active member in the Interaction Design Foundation and spends time outside of her work mentoring emerging design professionals. She has spoken at events like Design For Drupal advocating for more accessible design and development practices within the digital web space. Mary lives and works remotely from Barneveld, Wisconsin, where she enjoys the outdoors and exploring the midwest with her husband and French bulldog Maynard.
