Sankaran Prithviraj

Sankaran Prithviraj is a consulting Principal Architect in Mahindra Satyam (MSat) and he has about 28 years of all in IT experience. He has extensive national and international experience in all phases of the IT lifecycle with strategic technology planning, systems integration to support a variety of clients’ businesses.

He operates as chief architect in large budget projects with big tickets. Currently he works on Enterprise Architecture(EA) TOGAF frame work, SOA, Cloud computing, Mobile computing, Social Media for enterprises, Enterprise Information systems and in intersection of these areas. Business-IT alignment, building business capabilities including using emerging technologies, application portfolio analysis are his forte. His role includes technology strategy development for Enterprises and creation of Centers of Excellence. As solution architect he effectively combines open source products and cloud to offer an un-precedent ROI advantage to clients.

Predominant vertical industry experience is in Telecom, Media and Entertainment, Banking, US State Government, Manufacturing. He is a regular conference speaker and panel member on Cloud Computing thought leadership, and EA frame work roll out techniques. Currently he leads an effort within MSat in applying TOGAF for Small and Medium Businesses. His earlier innovations presented in EAP Conferences in EA roll-out techniques become part of standards.

He has four degrees from India’s international repute institutes on four branches of engineering. He has BSc in Chemistry from Madras University, India, BE from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, MS in Production Technology and Aeronautical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology(IIT), Madras, India and another MTech from same IIT, Madras, India.
