Mindjet CEO Scott Raskin’s strategic vision has evolved the company from a mind-mapping start up to a cross-platform provider of collaborative and cloud-based productivity solutions. The results have fueled the growth of a passionate customer base to two million paid users worldwide and counting.
Raskin joined Mindjet after five years at Telelogic, where he served as President and Chief Operating Officer. During his time there, he guided the company through strategic acquisitions and extensive organic growth, building a team of more than 1,200 employees in thirty countries. These efforts culminated when IBM acquired the company for $845 million.
Previously, Raskin served as Vice President of Sales and Corporate Development at Nexgenix, a pioneer in e-commerce solutions. At Nexgenix, he built the revenue and sales engines from the ground up, growing revenues to over $55 million per year. Under his direct leadership, the company counted twenty-five consecutive quarters of profitable growth. He has also held senior management positions at Bachman Information Systems and MAI Basic Four, and currently serves as president of the San Francisco Bay Chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization.
