Sherin is a senior engineering leader and cloud architect with more than 15 years of experience building large-scale cloud, data and AI systems that power modern customer experiences. He currently serves as a Senior Engineering Manager at Walmart (Vizio), where he leads core engineering teams focused on automatic content recognition (ACR), customer data pipelines, and AI-driven personalization across millions of devices and touchpoints. Before joining Walmart (Vizio), Sherin served as a Senior Engineering Manager for Walmart’s Order Management Systems, leading a team of engineers responsible for the end-to-end experience of Walmart’s online orders. he worked closely with front-line customer care agents and CX leaders, understanding their pain points around order tracking, refunds, order cancellations, order on-time delivery and escalations and turned those insights into product changes and better tools. Sherin also partnered with the business to build metrics dashboards for contact drivers, first contact resolution and promise date accuracy to help teams focus on what truly improved customer satisfaction.
Before joining Walmart, Sherin worked at Amazon Web Services as a Senior Technical Account Manager, leading cloud migrations, implementing end-to-end observability, and designing resilient event-driven architectures that reduced downtime, empowered agents, and improved customer satisfaction. He worked closely with many AWS customers and helped them in improving their overall experience with adopting AWS cloud services.
Sherin also has experience working as a devops engineer on various tools and technologies for different multinational companies and has authored articles about cloud technologies, AI and vector embeddings.
