Captovation, a Minneapolis-based maker of document capture software, Wednesday released the newest version of its eCapture suite, which boasts improvements and additions to several of the bundle's components. The eCapture suite includes modules for scanning paper documents, indexing their content, distributing the resulting electronic documents, and importing images. ecImport Server, for instance, can now be linked to designated e-mail accounts to automatically check for document image attachments, which are then imported into eCapture where they can be batch indexed and turned over to any electronic document management system for later retrieval. Read about the eCapture suite.
