The Chrome browser finally becomes available for Apple devices, giving users an alternative to Safari and allowing Google fans to sync their desktop browser content with their mobile device.

Everything Gleaming of Chrome

Yes, there are plenty of other browsers are available for iOS, Opera leaps to mind, and then there's SkyFire, RockMett and the others. But, Chrome's popularly, duking it out with Firefox for the most popular, should make it an instant contender and massively increase its usage statistics.

Chrome's desktop feature set has risen rapidly since its launch with app integration, and as syncing with mobile devices becomes more of a user demand, it is well placed to offer that too. The announcement was made on day two of Google's IO event with yesterday's keynote showing off a range of new hardware including the now legendary Google Glasses.
