Hitting the ground running with Microsoft CMS (MCMS) is not so easy for content authors. Out of the box MCMS is functional and even powerful, but leaves room for improvement in the usability department. New Zealand based Intergen have helped smooth the learning curve. Intergen have announced the Microsoft CMS User Guide. The guide is geared towards non-technical users who create, maintain and manage website content. The 148 page guide covers the following topics:
  • Introducing Content Management Server
  • Users and Workflow
  • Basic Concepts
  • Working with content
  • Advanced concepts
  • Troubleshooting
The User Guide is available in hard copy and electronic forms, but one is obliged to contact the enterprise folks of Intergen sales directly if they would like a copy.
