Mark Ace

Mark Ace — "a modestly successful and persistently optimistic business guy" – is President of Portland, Ore.-based Kavi, a flexible Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution that streamlines teamwork and reduces the costs of collaboration. He's responsible for overall company management, working with a team to define Kavi's product vision, deliver customer-focused software and engage with its customer community. Before joining Kavi in 2012, he held leadership positions at Envisions, which markets software for higher education institutions, research institutions and education-related professional services, and Cayuse, which was acquired by Envisions.

He reports on his LinkedIn profile that he earned decent returns for himself and others, took care of employees, pampered customers, worked with smart folks to figure out and build the right stuff the right way, delivered great service, listened, earned trust, honored commitments and learned from his mistakes.
