Vanessa Hering serves as executive vice president of Strategy and Operations at Beyond Finance, where she leads client success, operational performance, and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives that support consumers working to say goodbye to their debt and regain financial stability.
Vanessa oversees the teams, systems, and training infrastructure that power Beyond Finance’s client experience nationwide. She is recognized for building high-performing, values-driven organizations that balance operational discipline with empathy, ensuring clients experience clear guidance, thoughtful support, and actionable solutions during financially vulnerable moments.
Under her leadership, Beyond Finance has made significant investments in frontline empowerment and professional development. In 2025 alone, the Client Success team completed more than 10,000 collective hours of structured training focused on listening, validation, and solution-oriented action planning. Beyond Finance has been awarded multiple recognitions for its commitment to clients: Organization of the Year – The Business Intelligence Group’s Excellence in Customer Service Award, Gold Stevie Award for Outstanding Customer Service Department, Banking Tech Award – Financial Wellness Champion, Best In Biz Gold Award for top Customer Service Team, and 3 ConsumerAffairs’ “Buyer’s Choice Awards.”
Vanessa holds an MBA with a Finance major from The Wharton School and a Master of Arts in International/Global Studies from The Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania (2017–2019). She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Administration with a Finance major (Honors with Distinction) from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
