Preview eMag's PreVu at ILTA 2009
eMag Solutions (news, site), provider of enterprise content management (ECM) and electronic discovery solutions will introduce the launch of PreVu 3.0 this week at the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) conference in Washington, D.C.

PreVu 3.0, a hosted raw data culling application, allows corporations and law firms to sort, search and filter electronically stored information (ESI).

Making the Most of Early Case Assessments

Early case assessment, part of the litigation process most in need of managed content, is one of the main ways that legal teams can reduce time, cost and management of ESI associated with eDiscovery.

With PreVu 3.0, users can create early stage processing requests to facilitate eDiscovery, litigation planning or enterprise content management to make strategic decisions more timely and more effectively.

Ultimately it means that large data sets can be culled before having to be archived or reviewed, dramatically cutting costs and saving time.

Sort, Filter and Tag

PreVu 3.0 comes full of enhancements including search and filter functionality that can sort by custodian, file type or server, as well as by a variety of dates (creation, modification or access dates), content, metadata media root directory and by file attachments in e-mails.

It also includes automated de-duplication, extensive reporting capabilities and capabilities for cross-border, multinational collections.
