For all of you wicked smart Bostonian hackers or designers out there, mark your calendars as the world's first Dev House Boston event is coming your way next Saturday, December 9th.In its first year, Dev House Boston is giving programmers and designers the opportunity to hack out something cool ...and maybe meet some like-minded chums or well-moneyed fans for the next big project you want to throw together. Dev House Boston is designed to give programmers and designers the opportunity to hack out something cool -- in a day, and present it to lots of interested people. Inspired by Super Happy Dev House and Mash Pit, the founders aim to bring creative people together for one super-productive day. Bring a team or just yourself, bring an idea or prepare to be inspired to invent one. At the end of the day, you should have some working code, page mock-ups, or just an damn clever elevator pitch. In any case, you'll share your work with a bunch of fellow brainies, just like yourself. The time: 11:00am -10:00pm Saturday, December 9, 2006 The place: Permabit 25 First Street, 2nd Floor Cambridge, Massachusetts 02141 On top of all the intrinsic goodness there will be free wifi, pizza, dinner, drinks, and t-shirts provided to all who attend. You can't miss! Register here. View existing project ideas here.
