Make the trek out to San Francisco on July 21 and 22 for WordCamp, an indubitable hodgepodge of WordPress users, blogging purists and collabo-hungry enterprise elites, all raring to add new buzz to already unintelligible 2.0-ridden vernacular.Last year about 350 WordPress users appeared in the Golden State to join in the mot-based extravaganza. And because that one day was so successful, this summer San Francisco will play host to a two-day treat. Day one will focus on user and blog-oriented topics such as search engine optimization and podcasting. Day two will revolve more around the development side, with usability, iterative design and the future of publishing. Speakers include: * Matt Cutts * John Dvorak * Robert Hoekman, Jr. * Dan Kuykendall * Om Malik * Rashmi Sinha * Lorelle Vanfossen * Dave Winer * A few WordPress developers Lunch is included, with the fun and games culminating in Sunday barbeque. And if that doesn't sound like sufficient live-it-uppery, there's a party on Saturday night and -- get this -- free t-shirts for all! WordCamp costs US$ 25 for entry and "scholarships" are available. Registration closes July 9th so hurry - no tickets are available at the door. Read more about WordPress and the new v2.2, which just came out in May.
