The digital experience vendor recognized global contributors who support SitecoreAI adoption.

The Gist

  • Global recognition program. Sitecore honors 213 individuals for contributions to its ecosystem.
  • Community-driven innovation. MVPs share practical insights to accelerate adoption of SitecoreAI and platform advances.
  • Customer, partner, practitioner impact. Program fosters expertise sharing, reducing risk and build time for enterprise teams adopting new digital capabilities.

Sitecore's MVP program spotlights the practitioner communities that translate AI-first platform ambitions into disciplined enterprise adoption.

The Manchester, NH-based company on Feb. 3, 2026, announced its 2026 Most Valuable Professional class, recognizing 213 individuals from customers, partners and independent practitioners worldwide. The program honors contributors who share expertise, test new capabilities and help enterprise teams adopt the vendor's AI-driven platform.

The MVPs span three categories: 120 Technology, 37 Strategy and 56 Ambassador. Eleven recipients reached 10-year status, including George Chang of Hexagon and Rob Ahnemann of EPAM Systems. More than 100 community reviewers evaluated nominations during a two-month selection process.

According to company officials, MVPs publish guidance, share reusable code and provide early feedback on SitecoreAI. The vendor asserts this shortens build time and reduces upgrade risk for teams adopting new capabilities.

Sitecore's 2025 Transformation

Sitecore executed major strategic initiatives throughout 2025, reshaping its leadership, launching an AI-first platform and divesting a marketing asset. The transformation began in May when Sitecore appointed Eric Stine as CEO, replacing Dave O'Flanagan after one year.

At Sitecore Symposium in Orlando in November, the company unveiled SitecoreAI, a composable SaaS platform addressing the shift from static search to AI-driven discovery. The platform featured at the time Agentic Studio with 20 AI-powered agents automating workflows from campaign planning to content migration.

Sitecore's product direction centers on SaaS migration, composable architecture and AI integration.

Key Trends in Digital Experience Software Ecosystems

The digital experience landscape now rewards orchestration and community discipline over raw AI capability.

AI Embedded Across DXP Architectures

AI capabilities shifted from experimental features to foundational requirements across enterprise digital experience platforms. Major vendors embedded AI directly into their platforms, with Sitecore deploying AI-powered personalization and Optimizely applying machine learning to experimentation.

Community Expertise Driving Adoption Discipline

Expert practitioner communities emerged as critical forces moderating AI adoption velocity. While 64% of organizations reported AI enabling their operations, implementation revealed persistent gaps between vendor promises and operational readiness.

Digital experience leaders shared consistent implementation patterns:

  • Governance-first AI integration balancing efficiency with compliance requirements
  • Selective experimentation maintaining human oversight and engineering discipline
  • Context-driven deployment avoiding low-quality outputs through careful prompting
  • Internal workflow automation reducing time-to-market while preserving trust

Orchestration Replaces Isolated Capabilities

DXPs evolved into coordination layers connecting data, intelligence and execution rather than functioning as standalone content platforms. AI-driven personalization and actionable analytics moved from optional enhancements to essential DXP components.

Learning Opportunities

25 Years of Digital Experience Innovation and Learning

Learning directly from customers, partners, and practitioners has guided Sitecore through 25 years of innovation and partnership, from the first websites to AI-driven experiences.
