Description
The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing is the world's largest gathering of women technologists. It is produced by the Anita Borg Institute and presented in partnership with the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM). Co-founded by Dr. Anita Borg and Dr. Telle Whitney in 1994 and inspired by the legacy of Admiral Grace Murray Hopper, Anita Borg Institute’s Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC) of Women In Computing Conference is designed to bring the research and career interests of women in computing to the forefront. GHC 2015 hosted almost 12,000 attendees — a number expected to grow to more than 15,000 attendees in 2016.
