Stuart Boardman

Before finding myself in the world of IT, I pursued a career as a musician (jazz, African music and some pretty weird stuff). Music (and dancing to it) remains an important part of my life. I like to think of myself as an "unrepentant hippy". All of these things probably have something to do with my interest in Social Business, about which I've been blogging for a while now. I graduated (back in the late 14th century) in mathematics, which probably has something to do with my attraction to analytical methods and why I finished up doing enterprise architecture. I don't think science means applying numbers to everything and uncertainty doesn't worry me but I do think we can and should apply scientific method to at least help us understand what we don't understand. Half baked ideas are not much use if the results are doughy and inedible. That aside I like running and walking, my son and my partner, Canada, Spain and Portugal, Dommelsch Pilsener and Fuller's London Pride.
