Tom Eggemeier is the executive vice president of global sales, services, and support and chief customer officer at Genesys. In 2012 and 2013, Tom led the company to record-breaking revenues, while building an award-winning sales organization.Recently, Tom’s responsibilities grew to include all of field operations spanning services and support to align with the company’s customer experience initiative.

Prior to Genesys, Tom led Alcatel-Lucent’s ~$2B global enterprise sales organization. Previously, Tom held a variety of leadership roles at Alcatel-Lucent including running the EMEA Enterprise field operations based in Paris, France.Tom has also worked in general management positions at Enterasys Networks, and Compaq.His experience spans research and development, product management, marketing, sales and channels, and corporate communications.

Tom holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Chicago Law School as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in European History from the University of Dayton from which he remains an avid Flyer basketball supporter.He lives with his family in the San Francisco Bay Area.
