Akamai (news, site) offers integrated cloud solutions, efficiency and improved revenue streams for customers via its new NetAlliance Partner Program.

Behind the Big Web

Akamai is well known in the industry as a provider of distributed video, content and e-commerce cloud services.  Working with many of the big names that power the web, it already deals with most hardware makers and service providers.

Now, with the launch of a NetAlliance Partner Program, Akamai is getting its infrastructure, integrator, commerce and digital media buddies together to assist customers in getting the best returns out of the cloud.

The program will enable customers around the world to pick out the right solution to meet their needs in creating a public, private or hybrid cloud solution that runs efficiently and securely. Using the low-startup-cost cloud route, companies can grow and scale as required and manage their data through Akamai's global servers and services.

Using the program's partner technologies along with Akamai's services such as application, media and Web acceleration, will help customers overcome the variable nature of the Internet. The NetAlliance program should help smooth out the net into a reliable, high-performance platform that business can use to save or generate revenue.
