Things happen quickly in the industry, including changes in employment. Here's a quick and dirty list of the biggest moves that hit our radar over the last couple of weeks:

Netbiscuits Gets a New Managing Director

Netbiscuits (newssite) checked in a new Managing Director for North America. Craig Besnoy will be responsible for Netbiscuits' growth strategy in the United States and other markets in the Americas.

"Today mobile already means serious business for a broad array of different vertical industries in the United States", said Besnoy. "Publishing houses, media and entertainment companies as well as retail and e-commerce enterprises are at the forefront of this development. They understand that what many of us called the 'third screen' only some years ago, will soon be the first channel for many kinds of interaction with consumers in the USA and abroad."

Meanwhile, Ran Farmer, Netbiscuits' former US managing director, moves to the company's advisory board. Farmer has spent over six years successfully built up Netbiscuits' North American operations and led the technology company to its current space in the development and publishing pool for mobile sites and apps in the USA.

SpringCM Names Joe Marino VP of Government Solutions

"Mr. Marino brings an impressive set of capabilities and experience to SpringCM," said Christopher Junker, SpringCM CEO. "His knowledge of the federal market as well as the challenges that government contractors face will be invaluable to the continued growth of our Government Solutions Division.”
