Microsoft CMS Pricing Changes

As noted in a previous article (MS Content Management Server Pricing Changes), back in July 2003 Microsoft announced the availability of the Microsoft CMS Standard Edition. More changes are afoot, as it has just come to our attention that as of January 1st, 2004, the MCMS Enterprise edition was repriced from about USD 42, 000 per CPU to about USD 25,000 per CPU. This pricing strategy change will obviously have a significant impact on the Web CMS market as a whole. View current MCMS pricing.
