

Above, you'll see the addition of new segment types. A wider variety of audience dimensions and metric parameters is also available for application (age, geography, language, time zone, etc.)
Audience segments can be created from either Settings > Segmentation > Manage Segments or from within the main flow of Yahoo! Web Analytics reports.
The Segmentation Wizard also allows users to add various dimensions and metrics to groups, and use and/or logic within or between groups to define the number of visitors for which each segment would apply.

Yahoo! Moves
Though Yahoo! has been through some hard times recently, the team seems to be moving forward at a steady pace. In addition to the new YWA announcement, the company recently purchased advertising platform 5:1.
Reportedly, the acquired company will be places within its the Yahoo! Ad Marketplaces group, and the 5:1 platform and its premium private marketplace will be used to extend and improve Yahoo!'s advertising reach.
This deal follows the company's April acquisition of IntoNow for US$ 20 million, and May last year was a busy time for the company when it picked up Associated Content and Koprol.
