Arun Pattabhiraman is the vice president and global head of Marketing at InMobi, a mobile advertising and discovery platform. Arun is passionate about mobile and the internet and is fascinated by the myriad ways in which they continue to transform our lives.  Having led more than a dozen product launches at InMobi, he brings deep experience in global mobile and internet businesses including mobile advertising, mobile payments and m-commerce.  As the editorial director, Arun produced “Apponomics –The Insider’s Guide to a Billion Dollar App Business”, a 300-plus page book that was launched at the Mobile World Congress (2014) Barcelona, and serves as a guide to app developers looking to acquire, monetize and retain loyal users for their apps.

Before InMobi, Arun drove prepaid voice revenues at India's largest telecom operator, Airtel, where he conceived and launched several market leading products and managed customer lifetime value through targeted marketing campaigns. In his free time, Arun advises startups on mobile marketing, user acquisition and monetization. Arun graduated from the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, with an MBA in Strategy and Marketing and holds a bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the College of Engineering-Guindy, Anna University.
