Adobe's new agentic AI tool automates marketing campaigns, analytics and journey orchestration across its Customer Experience platform.

The Gist

  • Agentic AI launch. Adobe introduces CX Enterprise Coworker for automated CX workflows.

  • End-to-end orchestration. Solution unifies data, content and journey management across platforms.

  • Marketing team impact. Designed to help marketing leaders achieve faster, more measurable outcomes.

Adobe on June 10 announced general availability of CX Enterprise Coworker, an agentic AI solution that automates customer experience workflows. The product sits within Adobe CX Enterprise, the company's end-to-end customer lifecycle management system.

According to Adobe, the offering activates enterprise applications used by more than 20,000 global brands to unify data, create on-brand content and orchestrate customer journeys. It coordinates AI agents across analytics, content creation and journey orchestration.

The solution is built on open standards including Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent2Agent (A2A), and interoperates with third-party AI platforms from Amazon Web Services, Anthropic, Google Cloud, Microsoft and OpenAI.

"CX Enterprise Coworker was built to help teams deliver better outcomes, reshaping workflows with agentic AI that is grounded in brand, customer and channel intelligence," said Anjul Bhambhri, SVP of engineering, Customer Experience Orchestration, Adobe.

Adobe's Leadership Moves and CX Orchestration Momentum

Adobe is navigating a leadership transition following CEO Shantanu Narayen's announced departure after 18 years — a tenure that grew the company from under $1 billion to more than $25 billion in revenue. Lead director Frank Calderoni is heading the succession search while Narayen transitions to chair.

The shift coincided with record Q1 FY2026 results — $6.40 billion in revenue (up 12% year over year), non-GAAP EPS of $6.06 and $2.96 billion in operating cash flow — alongside a DOJ settlement requiring $75 million in free customer services and a $75 million cash payment to resolve subscription disclosure and cancellation allegations.

AI momentum is the headline growth story. Adobe Experience Platform ARR and GenStudio ARR each grew over 30%, Firefly generative AI ARR surpassed $250 million, and AI-influenced ARR exceeded one-third of total bookings by the end of Q4 FY25. The agentic customer experience suite — LLM Optimizer, Sites Optimizer and Brand Concierge — recorded 13x growth in trials.
