Paula Catoira is Chief Marketing Officer at Rival Group, the parent company of Rival Technologies, Reach3 Insights and Angus Reid, where she leads go-to-market strategy and execution across marketing, sales development and revenue operations. She brings more than 20 years of marketing experience and over a decade of leadership in B2B SaaS, with deep expertise spanning product marketing, growth strategy, revenue operations, market research, customer insights, strategic planning and cross-functional alignment.
Throughout her career, Paula has held senior marketing, product and strategy roles across global technology and telecommunications organizations. Before joining Rival Group, Paula served as Chief of Staff to the CEO at Allocadia, leading strategic initiatives across the organization and helping lay the groundwork for the company’s successful acquisition. She previously held senior marketing, product and strategy roles across high-growth SaaS, technology and telecommunications companies.
At Rival Group, Paula writes and speaks about the future of marketing, customer insights and market research, with a particular focus on modernizing how brands listen to customers. Her work explores topics including mobile-first and conversational research, always-on insight communities, AI’s role in accelerating insight activation, brand trust, customer experience, go-to-market strategy, marketing leadership and the evolving relationship between marketers and consumers.
Originally trained as an engineer, Paula brings an analytical, systems-thinking approach to marketing leadership. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical and industrial engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and an MBA from IBMEC in Brazil. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, she is an Executive Member of Pavilion and serves as a CMO Ambassador for CMO Alliance, bringing strategic rigor, curiosity and a human-centered lens to how brands build stronger relationships with customers.
