The upcoming AIIM+ Expo (news, site) in Philadelphia will offer close up access to SharePoint 2010 via its own dedicated summit.

Sharing the SharePoint 2010 Knowledge

Currently in beta, SharePoint 2010 is expected to be a big hit. Those high hopes and features will be discussed at a dedicated summit held at April's AIIM info360 conference. The Association for Information and Image Management's upcoming event takes place at the Pennsylvania Conference Center on April 20-22.

The summit will put Microsoft developers, partners (including EMC and Oracle), users and analysts in the same room, educating everyone who wants to know about the new features, techniques and skills required to get the most from the collaboration and content platform.

A Little SharePoint 2010 for Everyone

With sessions including SharePoint and Office, What's New in 2010, Growing SharePoint from Small Libraries to Large Scale Repositories & Massive Archives, and Building Rich, Immersive Sites with Microsoft Tools & Technologies, there should be something for everyone with a vested interest in SharePoint.

The summit will include a keynote,  breakout sessions, real world implementation stories and test drive opportunities. The full three-day schedule can be viewed here.

A Gold Pass to the whole Expo costs US$ 949 in advance of US$ 1,249 at the door. The SharePoint Summit is included in the conference pass. Select, pre-conference events are US$ 549 and include programs on ECM, records management programs for management and specialists, BPM and Enterprise 2.0. Other exhibitors include Alfresco, Digitech Systems and Iron Mountain among many others.
