It's that time of year again. Digital agency Water & Stone is running its annual survey on the open source content management market. The data proceeds go to benefit the subsequent Open Source CMS Market Share report (see the 2009 and 2008 editions).

This year the survey has been condensed, in kind consideration of participants, but the list of products surveyed has grown to 31 open source CMS offerings -- a mix of Web CMS, Portal and Document Management/Enterprise CMS packages.

The 2010 systems include Alfresco, Bricolage, CMSMadeSimple, Concrete5, dotCMS, DotNetNuke, Drupal, e107, Expression Engine, eZ Publish, Hippo, Jahia, Joomla!, Kentico, Liferay, Magnolia, MODx, MojoPortal, Movable Type, Nuxeo, OpenCMS, phpWebsite, Plone, Silverstripe, SPIP, TextPattern, TikiWiki, Typo3, Umbraco, WordPress and Xoops.

If you're a user or consumer of content management technologies, then jump in and help with survey responses. The reward for your time will be an early copy of the 2010 report, replete with detailed statistics and sentiments from the observable open source market.
