Mobifusion Prepares to Launch MOBleReader
Last year, Mobifusion, a leading mobile value-added services provider and partner for media and publishing companies, released its Mobiviewer 2.5 multimedia platform. This month, the company has announced the imminent release of its new MOBIeReader.

A Mobile eReader for Any Device

Designed to perform on smartphones and PDAs, MOBIeReader lets users access and read their books on the go or at home, without needing to buy a separate eReader hardware device. By taking advantage of the best features of the hardware device, Mobifusion aims to deliver a similar, if not improved reading experience.

A Customized User Experience

Focused on providing a customizable e-book user experience, the MOBIeReader includes a host of innovative features like full color text and images, video, a search tool that encompasses library, content and notes, customizable colors, text size and other look & feel options, bookmarks, as well as the ability to make notes, highlight text and sharing capabilities.

Readers can also employ functionality such as:

Learning Opportunities

  • Reading by page flip or time scrolling
  • Jumping to any chapter, illustration from the table of contents
  • Adding voice to text or access audio books

The MOBIeReader also integrates community and social networking components that include virtual book signings and readings, personalization, customization and localization.

A Wider Reach

Because the MOBleReader is available from just about any mobile device, from the iPhone to Blackberry to Android, book publishers may take comfort knowing that their books have a broader reach than many options already readily available via popular eReaders, like the Kindle or Nook.
